【摘要】:1.1Thepurposeofthisspecificationistoprovidegeneralrequirementsforproductsusedtoreducethermalloadsonbuildingsbyreflectingsolarradiationfromroofsandwalls.Radiationcontrolcoating(RCC)isaliquidappliedcoatinghavingasolarreflectanceof0.8andanambienttemperatureinfraredemittanceofatleast0.8.1.2Thisspecificationcoversthephysicalandmechanicalpropertiesofliquid-appliedradiationcontrolcoatings(RCCs)designedforexteriorapplicationonbuildingsorotherstructures,whereambientairtemperaturesrangeform-34to54x00B0;C[-30to130x00B0;F].Thespecificationalsoincludesthetestingproceduresbywhichtheacceptabilityofthematerialmaybedetermined.1.3Theproductsthatcomplywiththisspecificationmaybeusedforotherapplicationsandhaveotherpropertiesnotcoveredbythisspecification.Insuchcases,itisadvisabletocheckotherspecificationsthataddresstheapplicationsofinterest.1.4ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
