【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthecharacteristicsof90mmOpticalDiskCartridges(ODCs)usingthephasechangetechnology,withacapacityof1,3Gbytespercartridge.ItspecifiesthreerelatedTypesofsuchcartridges.TypeR/WProvidesfordatatobewrittenoroverwrittenandreadmanytimesovertherecordingsurfaceofthediskusingthephasechangeoverwritableeffect.TypeP-ROMProvidesforapartoftherecordingsurfacesofthedisktobeembossedbystampingorothermeans.Thispartofthediskisreadwithoutrecoursetothephasechangeoverwritableeffect.AllpartswhicharenotembossedprovidefordatatomeettherequirementsofTypeR/W.TypeO-ROMProvidesforthewholeoftherecordingsurfacesofthedisktobeembossedandreproducedbystampingorothermeans.Thistypeofdiskisreadwithoutrecoursetothephasechangeoverwritableeffect.ForeachType,thisInternationalStandardprovidesfor512-byteand2048-bytesectors.Allsectorsofagivencartridgehavethesamesize.TypeR/W,TypeP-ROMandTypeO-ROMarealsoreferredtoas"fullyoverwritable","partiallyembossed"and"fullyembossed",respectively.ThisInternationalStandardspecifies-theconditionsforconformancetestingandtheReferenceDrive;-theenvironmentsinwhichthecartridgesaretobeoperated,storedandtransported;-themechanicalandphysicalcharacteristicsofthecartridge,soastoprovidemechanicalinterchangeabilitybetweendataprocessingsystems;-theformatoftheinformationonthedisk,bothembossedanduser-written;includingthephysicaldispositionofthetracksandsectors,theerrorcorrectioncodes,andthemodulationmethodused;-thecharacteristicsoftheembossedinformationonthedisk;-thephasechangeoverwritablecharacteristicsofthedisk,enablingprocessingsystemstooverwritedataontothedisk;-theminimumqualityofuser-writtendataonthedisk,enablingdataprocessingsystemstoreaddatafromthedisk.ThisInternationalStandardprovidesforinterchangebetweenopticaldiskdrives.Togetherwithastandardforvolumeandfilestructure,itprovidesforfulldatainterchangebetweendataprocessingsystems.
